The Simple Pleasures of a Reformed Darkling

     Hi everybody! Here I go by Darkling, or, if you want, Shady. (The name has nothing to do with Black City, The Grisha Trilogy, etc. It's a long story.) If you are reading this, thanks for taking the time and welcome to my little piece of cyberspace! I apologize if I go MIA for long periods of time. I'm very busy and sometimes I can't find the time to be on here. Thanks for being patient with me. I don't make a habit of disclosing personal information, so please don't ask me.

    'My friends have described me as "scary" and "intimidating", but I'm also the girl who's biggest problems are finding enough space on her bookshelves, being broke from spending too much money on books, and getting funny looks from talking/yelling at the books she's reading. I love YA, and if you get me to start talking about the books, I'll never shut up! As a result, I started this blog to share books I've read, good and bad, and to help other readers find something great to read!

    Some of my favorite authors include Maggie Stiefvater, Julie Kagawa, Lauren Oliver, and Cassandra Clare, as you can see from my little Best of Shelf hall of YA fame to your right.
