After that horrific sequel, I thought it would be best for my sanity - and everyone elses' - if I took a break with this series. But I don't like to abandon a series before I'm done with it, so here goes nothing...
Nora Grey can't remember the past five months of her life. She's been told she was kiddnapped, but by who? She tries to get her life to go back to normal, messing aroud with Vee, going to her school, and spending time with her family. But something - well, several things - aren't quite right. Her mom's new boyfriend has something off about him, and Nora's is haunted by a pair of captivating black eyes. Vee denies having any idea what's going on, but Scott Parnell claims otherwise. He explains, at least partially, what happened to Nora, and together they set off to find answers.
But not everyone wants Nora to remember the past. After a near deadly encounter with four... disturbing teens, Nora is determined to find out what's happening. But a mysterious boy she feels like she knows refuses to give her answers she so needs, and the stakes are getting higher.
While this cover wasn't as bad as the first, it wasn't as good as the second. I mean, seriously. The first half of the book is incredibly frustrating, because Nora just re-discovering everything the reader already knows. Again, I didn't see much development between the characters and the plot lagged and was often boring. Many of Nora's antics were pointless and stupid. The story line was choppy. We don't even learn a whole lot about the characters throughout the story, which I disliked. 3/5 stars.
