Day is a criminal. Every day, the Republic of America flashes his name on their most wanted lists. But he's the smartest, the fastest. They'll never catch him. All he wants is to help his family, to take care of the poor. He's not in it for the money, the fame, the creed.

June, on the other hand, comes from a wealthy family. She's the governments good little prodigy. She's scored the highest on the tests, done better than cadets five years her senior. She lives a perfect live of privilege until her brother is killed in a murder case. The prime supect? Day.

And so June sets out to hunt Day, determined to avenge her brother. But after findng him, she soon begins to realize that some things don't match up. Things aren't quite right, and June may have been lied to. So who's really responsible? And what else are her people keeping from her?

The idea of this America, with some states rebelling, sealed off from the rest of the world, was interesting. June and Day were interesting chracters and we get both of their POVs without messing up the plot. If anything, the book's love interest was pretty weak-ass. The plot moved along well, and the action was good. 4/5 stars.
