Anna can't wait to start her senior year in high school. She has a charmed life, with a job she enjoys, the best friend a girl could wish for, and a huge crush she hopes will become something more. But all of Anna's hopes are shattered when - Suprise! - her father sendes her off to a boarding school in Paris, France. Most girls would be gleeful at the mere idea of vsiting France, but for Anna it simply means being on opposite sides of the world from her friends and family, stuck with people who don't even speak her language. But things start to look up when she meets Etienne St. Clair, her dream boy. But things aren't exactly simple between the two. Etienne is having girlfriend issues, and Anna's roommate has a crush on Etienne herself. And with both Anna and Etienne facing large family problems, sharing a kiss isn't a easy as it sounds...

I don't read contemperary romance much, so this was fun and refreshing. The story is well paced with developed characters that make for a satisfying read. I would give this book 4/5 stars. I almost wish it was a series!
