So, in an effort to get this over with as quickly as possible, here goes:

Brit Pheiffer is looking forward to backpacking in the Teton mountain range with her best friend, Korbie. But, because of a surprise blizzard, they get stranded with two guys they know absolutely nothing about in the middle of pretty much nowhere. But, because of a plot twist we all saw coming - this is Becca - it turns out these two guys are fugitives who may be responsible for the death of several girls, and the friends are taken hostage.

Brit is forced to show the men a way out of the mountains so they can escape the police. One of the guys, "Mason" (Of course that's not his real name because, again, Becca.) is weirdly nice, and *sigh* it turns out he has warm fuzzies for her. But Brit needs to get away from them before the other guy, Shaun, who isn't quite right in the head, decides to off her.

Korbie doesn't strike me as a very good friend. Combine that with the fact that she's whinny as heck and..no. Just no. Brit has zero intelligence or personality, and the guys are cookie-cutter bad guys. Again, zero personality whatsoever.

You know, I really should have known this was a bad idea. No eBook that's available for preorder for $2.99 is going to be any good. But no. I had to. I had to doubt that Becca would be any smarter this time around. I had to get my hopes up.

The first chapter or so wasn't so bad, but it went downhill from there. None of the characters had any personality and I quickly became bored. The plot wasn't well thought out and the story was wrapped up messily and too quickly. The pacing was also badly done and there were several interesting plot lines that had disappeared by the end of the book. 1.5/5 stars.
