Alice's perfect - if unusual - life is shattered when Amima Industries begins to attack her and the other slayers. Before she knows it, severeal of her friends have died and Ali is plunged into a nightmare. She is enraged by Amima's assults anddecides thatthe slayers have wasted enough time - it's time to fight back. However, it's a task easier said than done, and Ali learns that she's not who she thought she was. It is possible that she may have they key to curing the zombies, and Amima is willing to do just about anything to get their hands on her. Ali also has to deal with Cole, who is having an annoyingly hard time getting over who Ali really is. Ali wants nothing more to have ahappy ending, but getting it is something else.
I would first like to say that there are some chapters you shouldn't read in public. Namely 13, 19, and 22. I shouldn't have to explain why. Cole is in this one, after all.
Cole and Ali's relationship gets a bit strained sometimes, but everything worked out fine. Ali continued to amuse me with her upbeat, spunky personality and silly, fun humor. Kat was a great friend, and she continued to be brave and make the most of things despite her condition.
Zombies+Blood n' guts = fun. That's a no-brainer. And, of course, it's a theory that was proven with this delightful book. All the plot twists were really good, and I loved the new characters we meet. Cole is Cole sometimes, which is, duh, somewhat annoying, but I think everything worked out well. The ending was great and throughout the whole book I was totaly on edge about what would happen next. This was a great way to end the series! 4/5 stars!
