Lena and Julian have embraced the Invalid lifestyle, living in the Wilds and fighting against the government. And now Alex is back from the dead, a ghost of Lena's past who continues to haunt her. (Also, Julian and Alex don't get along. And Lena's too dumb to figure out why.) For years, the invalids have quietly sabatoged the government's system. Now, however, they are calling for something more: a revolution, maybe even a war.

Hana has lived a charmed life, engaged to a well-to-do politician. But even the haze of the cure that lingers over her mind isn't quite working, and she can't help but feel terrified - the cure doesn't seem to be doing it's job. She begins to unveil chilling secrets about her sweetheart's first wife and digs up the corruption in her perfect piece of Portland. But even the wealthy are beginning to feel and see how deep the rebels' anger runs, and nobody is safe from attacks.

The two girls, once the closest of friends, now live in what could be seperate worlds. Hana, who was a good girl, and Lena, who broke the rules. But they may have to work together, and Lena may be what it takes to pull Hana into their changing world.

The walls must come down. All of them.

This was an amazing finish! The tension between Julian and Alex was a great addition to add to the story and add a bit of fluff. ▪ᴥ▪ The idea for double POVs for Hana and Lena was great and I love watching Lena try to know her mother.

The story was amazing, and Lauren's writting once again left me shell shocked - but in a good way. The ending wasn't a they all live happily ever after (This is Delirium, after all.) but I loved the book and when I finished it, I just sat there forever rereading the last paragraph with a huge, goofy grin on my face, my black little heart filled to the brim.

Okay, that was a bit sappy. But really. It was pretty amazing. Hands down, one of the best series I have ever read, something this book confirmed several times. It was unbelieveable and the writting was amazing. A HUGE must-read. Loved it loved it loved it! 5/5 stars!
