The Downsides of Being a Book Nerd

Being a book nerd is awesome. Until these things happen...
Wanting the books. ALL the books.
There's a reason we're totally broke. Books first, food and rent later.

Reading in peace
There's always something - our phone, that guy playing soccer who just kicked you in the head, (Probably on purpose, too!) that one dude playing Kanye West as loud as he possibly can...
Multitasking
You have no idea how hard it is to switch between trying to run in a straight line and reading Cinder. And don't get me started on reading and eating!

Running out of things to read
Starting out the week with five books on your shelf, than waking up Saturday morning and finding out that you have to pay the library a visit.

Spoilers
Everyone should just wear earplugs in public so they don't pick up any spoilers. And then things like Allegiant happen, and then it's unavoidable. Someone's going to spill.

The Movie
This could be one of two things either it's 1) movies made of amazing books (i.e. City of Bones) that sucked, or 2) everyone reading the book and saying that the movie was better.
Having to put other stuff before reading
Because your math teacher doesn't care what's going on with Clary's family life right now. right now.
Refrences nobody else gets
Telling someone "Hey, comrade!" and having them look at you like you just grew a third eye.
Getting enough sleep
Because you can't read and get some shut-eye at the same time. This one's truely the bane of my existence.
