*WARNING* This post contains spoilers for the books Nevermore, The Maze Runner, and The One.
So here I am, looking for an interesting book to add to my TBR shelf, enjoying some time staring longingly at the covers of books that have yet to be released, when I have a heart attack, choke on my tea, and ignore the book that falls off this one really, really high pile of books that I need to clean up, hitting me on the head. My eyeballs bulged out of my head, and I think I cried a little bit. It was all very dramatic and painful. It was also very beautiful. (The books, not the mental picture you probably have of my reaction right now.)
I'm staring at two new books that I had no idea would be coming out. After the end of Nevermore,we thought that Maximum Ride was over. The same goes for The Selection series after the end of The One. Yet here I am, gaping at the pictures of two books I had no idea actually existed: Forever and The Heir. I feel kind of dumb, come to think of it. I should have seen this sooner. Of course, I've only just started posting about the series, but I read them a while ago. Hopefully I'll be able to finish posting by the time these come out. I can't make promises, but I can sure try.

The Fever Code by James Dashner
Unlike the other two books that almost killed me, this isn't one we have a release date yet. I learned about it when talking with a friend of mine about The Maze Runner, and she mentioned it. It is supposed to be released sometime in 2016, but there's not set date... yet. While the book has no official description, Dashner has said that he wants it to be about the lives of the Gladers before the Maze and the Scorch Trials. I can't wait!
I can't wait to see these three on my bookshelf, let alone sink my teeth into them! The one thing that's a bit of a bummer is the fact that I'll have to say goodbye to Max all over again, since this is the last book for good, I think. And I'll have to wait forever to get The Fever Cure! As for The Selection, not only is The Heir being released, Kiera is also coming out with a fifth book as well, details on which have yet to be released. This is going to be awesome! Hopefully, these two keep me sane until Cassie Clare's Lady Midnight is released in the fall. Mark your calendars, everybody!
